Advice please on working hours from anyone who knows...

This keeps going round and round in my head and I would like to put it to rest.

I work p/t, 1 1/2 days a week and am on a leadership pay scale as I used to be f/t until I had my dc. So I have a subject responsibility + another small responsibility, as well as my teaching duties. If I work from say 8.15 am - 5pm, and then 12.30 - 5pm, how much additional time would it be 'reasonable' for me to work to complete all the jobs that need doing? Should I just stick to my formal hours and do nothing much at all at home? Or should I work as many hours as necessary to get every last thing done? TBH these days my focus is much more on home life than school life but I guess that will change as my dc gets older.

I realise that I am in a lucky position to be able to work these hours, and my dc enjoys their childcare too and obviously I get the school holidays as well .
I like working, I like looking after dc but I like time for me too!

Any thoughts much appreciated!

Being on the leadership payscale more or less means that there is an expectation that you will do the hours that the job entails. However if you are being paid on the same leadership scale as when you were full time it would seem logical that you are only being paid what would be the equivalent of only spending 1 1/2 of 5 (30%) of the time on your leadership duties as you were when you were full time.
I assume that you are on the leadership scale because of the extra responsibilities. My inclination would be to look at your current leadership grade against what you would be paid on the main scale (UPS3?) and see exactly what the pay difference is. It maybe more appropriate to relinguish the leadership scale pay for not having the responsibility and just be an amazing part time teacher.

Thanks admission I had toyed with that idea but will def look in to that possibility now. Sometime soon I have an appraisal meeting with the HT so I will need to have all my 'homework done' as it were for our discussion
