Class birthday treats

Last week a child in my DD's class had a birthday. His daddy brought some sweets to share. A few kids did not get anything. Ok, this is not the child's fault that daddy could not count but the parents could have bought more the next day for the other few classmates. My DD was one of them. I would have been embarrassed if it happened to me and would definitely buy more sweets for the other children. What do you think? I just feel sorry for DD and her classmates.

At DD's school they are not allowed 'treats', even for birthdays! Stops any of those problems! I guess if you were going to do it, it would have been best to check the number of children in the class!

When our DD had birthday we brought more than 30, just in case. I myself counted the packs. Not every child brings treats. It is your own choice but then if you choose to bring something then bring for everyone. May be this is just me who is over sensitive over this issue.
