And free delivery.

CoffeeIsMyFriend Thu 02-Jun-11 11:28:50

I got this email today too! Both my DC are going to new schools come September and I am not sure on uniform at the moment...

treesinthebreeze Thu 02-Jun-11 11:40:14

Ooooh thanks. Do you think this offer is in place of the 3 for 2 they normally do? Will it be instore too?

ChippyMinton Thu 02-Jun-11 11:58:21

No idea, sorry. Just got sent an email. If you click through Quidco or similar, you can get cashback also.

AngryFeet Thu 02-Jun-11 12:19:17

Oh bugger I was hoping for the 3 for 2 deal again now I have to buy two sets of uniform.

ChippyMinton Thu 02-Jun-11 12:21:46

Maybe the 3 for 2 will follow?

crazymum53 Thu 02-Jun-11 17:05:10

Went to local M&S yesterday and no sign of any uniform yet.
However would prefer 20% off as 3 for 2 not very good for an only dc.
Need new uniform this year for secondary school and M&S is one of the few suppliers recommended.

If you look the 20% offer says it is until 19 July, (or around there) perhaps the 3 for 2 offer will start then? I would imagine there would be some sort of offer after 19 July for all those people wanting to buy uniform in summer holidays ready for September. It says the free delivery is until September. Perhaps they are trying to fool us in to buying it now so we don't wait and take advantage of the better offer (3 for 2) they may offer later?! wink

AngryFeet Fri 03-Jun-11 19:19:24

Nah they put the price up to full for the summer hols as that is when everyone is buying it ;)

Had a look and it will cost me £100 for both uniforms plus about £70 for shoes and plimsols.

It is true they just get more expensive the older they get!

PorkChopSter Fri 03-Jun-11 19:24:06

I refuse to buy school dresses from there. Easy to iron my arse

mankyscotslass Fri 03-Jun-11 19:27:27

I think the took the 3 for 2 offer off last year at the start of the school holidays, so they could rake more money in from people buying in the holidays to start in September.

If this offer is ending at around the same time as last year I don't see them doing the 3 for 2 again.....

AngryFeet Fri 03-Jun-11 19:37:13

Oh that's no problem porkchopster I just don't iron smile Tumble drier for 10 mins gets them crease free anyway.

nowwearefour Fri 03-Jun-11 19:47:11

Thanks- i was planning to wait for the 3 for 2 offer but have decided to go for it now to be sure of not missing their offer if this is it for this year !

evolucy7 Fri 03-Jun-11 21:20:56

Now I think I may have to buy it all now then.....I'd be really pissed off if the 20% ended and there was no offer at all afterwards!

PorkChopSter Fri 03-Jun-11 21:28:46

Oh no no no. Tumble drying just dries the creases in.

Check out the reviews!

Why are there no pinafores in black, just navy and grey?

MayDayChild Tue 07-Jun-11 19:42:41

And no grey cardigans.... M&S have gone Barking mad!

gazzalw Wed 08-Jun-11 18:50:28

Hi have it on good authority from friend whose friend works for M&S that they are doing the 3 for 2 offer this year - said he had been working on the banners! Surprised but happy as sure that it's actually a better offer than 20% off but probably need to do maths!

moragbellingham Sun 12-Jun-11 16:40:06

Yep, have been told the same today instore - that the 3 for 2 will be coming.....however, I ordered all mine at 20% off online with free delivery.

Instore I couldn't find 2 of anything in the right size let alone 3 and didn't want to risk the usual sell out!!
