Please come and talk to me about EducationCity

My y2 DD has just started using EducationCity at school, and has been doing her first lot of online homework this weekend.

She loves the site and was very keen to get on with her homework - which makes a pleasant change. However, I'd love to know a bit more about how it all works and if people with more experience of the site think it is a better way of doing homework than sheets in their book bags.

I'm really interested to know is the teacher can differentiate by ability when setting the homework.
I'd also love to know what sort of information the teacher gets about the child's homework. Can they check that the homework was completed, how accurately it was completed and how long/how many repeat goes the child took to do the homework...basically I can't quite imagine what sort of reporting the class teachers see.

Many thanks for your thoughts.

Not sure about what teachers see as I use at home, but for my kids I can see when they did each exercise, how long it took, how many attempts they had & % score.

Thanks Snowballed - DDs homework just seemed to disappear into a black hole after she had finished it... hope it's visible to the teacher Grin.
