Does anyone have knowledge or experience of this school on Highgate Road, in the Bor of Islington? I see it comes right at the top of the league tables and is Ofsted Outstanding, but no one ever seems to have heard of it ...

My dcs all went to St Jo's. Not flashy, not trying to be much more than a solid, traditional 3Rs school with catholic values and a strong sense of community.

What do you want to know? If you're really interested then go to the 10 oclock mass on Sundays, lots of families and some of the teachers go.

Well, I can't speak for last year but from previous years the majority have usually gone to catholic secondaries. Mostly local but there always seemed to be one or two to the (non academically selective) oratory, finchley catholic etc.

In my last dcs's year, which is probably typical, very few went private (but some did) and a number went to north london grammars and places like dame alice owens. Overall, probably around 20% of the year.
