My DD is in Year 4. This year she seems to be quite keen on maths - last year she struggled slightly as her teacher put her on the same table as some very able children so she got the idea that she wasn't very good though she really was quite able.
She is now asking me to teach her algebra (though she doesn't actually call it that). I don't think it is something she is learning at school and am a bit wary of teaching her myself in case I teach her the wrong methods (I can do maths but am not very good at explaining things). Can anyone recommend a workbook or website I could use?
