My ds is a year 1 in a mixed year 1/2 class. He is a bright boy and described as a great thinker by teachers. He enjoys talking in depth about things that interest him, but is not at all boisterous and not really into sport. He tends to get on well with boys a few years older than him. My concern is that there just aren't any like minded dcs in his class - he has been in this class mix since year R. He has got friends, but not on his wave length.He seems happy. Has anyone else had experience of this.
