Can anyone recommend a good book to read through with my 7 year old DD?

My dd is 9 and I have read a few pages of the Usborne book 'Whats happening to me?' as she has started to show signs of development, but out of her friends, she is quite early (yr 4) and the book does go into detail she is not quite ready for.
7 is quite young unless she is asking questions that you want to answer honestly?

Is it young? I guess I've read about some
girls starting at 8, so thought it made sense. My DD is very tall, so possible I guess

I'd go by when you started, me and my DD started at the same age, almost to the month.

My eldest started showing signs at age 10 and her periods started at 12. My youngest is 9 and is at that same stage (growth spurt, breast buds and her hair is getting more greasy), so I am guessing she'll start at around 11.
I didnt start till I was 15!
The book is good, but very detailed. I wouldnt have showed it to dd at 7, but shes taken it very well at age 9.
There may be simpler ones though...

We have the What's happening to Me? books. We've used them since oldest DC was about 8 and now nearly 11. They seem to be standing up well to the task. I would recommend them for both sexes.
