Sleepover and birthdays

Dd will be 10 soon and wants birthday sleepover. Would love to give it to her but she’s having issues with girls who simply won’t play with her. You’d think in a class of 30 girls over 2 classes she’d have someone to play with so hence dreading upcoming sleepover (if anyone says yes!). Dd has been brought up in nursery so has been around other children a lot. She goes to lots of clubs and I’ve been to the teacher as other girls were hounding her. Her issue is she can be a bit bossy and single minded. Girls she had play dates with are now saying they don’t want to play with her (or other mothers making up excuses for their dd not to play). I just don’t know want to do. She bottles it up and cries every few weeks and feels no one wants her in the class. The teacher said that other mothers worry but my dd is becoming increasingly isolated and spending more time on her own. I work FT and not friendly with the mums as much as others so that doesn’t help. WWYD?

What about inviting friends from her clubs rather than class?

What does the teacher mean that the other Mothers worry?

My daughter either goes to clubs with the girls who dislike her from her school or doesn’t know the other girls in clubs. They seem to team up with girls from their own school (were in a small town with 3 main schools). The other clubs are in the city and we don’t know them well enough. Teacher basically means she thinks I’m worrying over nothing as other mothers come and complain about girls being mean to their girls etc. The other girls mothers who said that I know at least have a small group of 4 - but they exclude my dd. I invited one girl who my dd was great friends with Out to a trampoline park in primary and they were inseparable until year 2. This girl spent the whole time running in the opposite of
Direction as my dd and in conversation for my dd to hear as well as me that she was looking more forward to a play date she was having the next day and in the car home slagged off my dd all the way home (my dd has gone to her granny’s so was not there to defend herself).

Tbh I would work on the bossy and single minded thing with her - what exactly does that mean? Her way or no way?

Yes basically. She also shouts at people if they’re being mean so makes her more of a target. She should try and shrug off certain things but finds it hard. So difficult as it’s the way she is.
