Birthday party for a 10yo?!

Maximum ten girls. I've never done a party for her at home before. She'd like a sleepover but what else? All ideas I can think of have been done and there's a feeling of having to be "unique".

Don't do a sleepover with 10 girls. Just don't.

Pamper party?

I'd probably say maximum of 5 though

Loads of done a pamper party. And music video parties, cake decorating etc. I'd like to do something a bit different. Mocktail master class?! Is that such a thing?!

Mocktail making is a great idea. Dd1 did it at guides and loved it

We did mocktails but due to tasting too many sweet juice based drinks we had two girls feeling sick :-(

So the idea is great but limit the amount of drinks. Not sure if you can do proper classes but it is easy to be done at home.

The mocktails were actually only part of a party at home, we also did a DIY photo session. White background, all girls brought change of outfits, they did their own hair and make up. We got some birthday photobooth props and DH took tons of photos with our SLR which we drop-boxed to the parentson the same evening.

The best one we had was proper chocolate making, not just decorating the odd bar but really doing everything from scratch like melting, tempering, the chocolates also included truffles.

Yes I've booked a chocolate making party! Got someone coming to the house for 90mins to do it, then will do a nice "dinner party" then sleepover. Thanks all!
