She'll be 9 in May and already has some physical signs of puberty but my god, the yo-yo moods are something else. She's either super lovely or, well, terrible and there's no in between. We've talked lots about growing up and she's actually under consultant care as she started developing "early" (though what's early these days?). She'll be starting SRE at school soon too so she's getting all the facts but I'm struggling to help her to manage these fluctuating moods. Can anyone suggest anything? I've got a 5yo too and she's puzzled to say the least!
