I'll probably host a party at home for my dd. We usually go out trick or treating, however, we decided to stop when she started year 7.

Not sure this year as she’s started high school.

My DD just started secondary and has asked to invite some of her primary school friends and a few new friends too for a trick-or-treating party around the village. They'll arrive in costume, have some pizza here first and then go out in a little gang of marauders to raid the village.

I'm just debating with myself whether they can take my 8yr old too or if I have to go separately with her.

We'll be trick or treating around the estate. There will be lots of other children & parents doing the same. We start as soon as it's dark and only knock on the doors that look receptive to being disturbed. Unofficial rule that no-one knocks beyond 7:30 ish.
Eldest is going as Harley Quin and youngest as a witch (very imaginative I know).
Then eldest is having a sleepover here with a friend and watching a scary movie.
Youngest will be carving a pumpkin with GP earlier in the day.
