hello I wonder if some parents experience their teens sleeping too much my 13 year old daughter get to the sofa after school and sleep until I get home to wake her up . Is that normal? she wake up at 7 am to be out at 7.45 and sleep from 10 pm . I wondering if it is the age when not school she sleep until 12 /1pm. thanks

It's far more than my teenager sleeps - mine gets home and is out doing stuff and goes to bed about 9.30am, asleep by 10pm and is up at 7am.

Is her phone keeping her up at night?

My ds (16) has never slept this much. He is up at 7am out by 7.30 home at either 5pm or 6.30pm depending on activities and goes to bed at 10.45pm ish but probably not asleep until 11/11.15. He goes to the gym in the evenings sometimes too and has Saturday morning school and rugby on a Sunday morning so no lie ins except school holidays. I would be worried if he slept as much as your dd does.

I used to sleep that much more at that age. Fall asleep on couch straight after school, wake up for dinner and bed at 10-11pm. Im lazy though!
