I didn't want to state in title and wasn't sure wether to put in health or on here so here goes:
My dd 12 came to me a few days ago and she has begun over last month or two getting hair down there and she said she noticed something strange - like a raised area around her perineum (?) little bit red bumpy and she didn't know what it was? I've looked and haven't seen anything like it before and wasn't sure if it's just because she's been putting her hands down there maybe not clean and so she has been washing and applying sudocream at night but it's such a sensitive age and she called me up tonite at bedtime crying saying it's not gone / what is it ?
It's a very sensitive age should I take her gp and request female gp to look at??
Any ideas without going to gp readily accepted please I'm lost!!

Could be quite distressing for her to have a doctor examine her but if it was sore or causing problems that's what you should do. If it's not sore I would try something like Epsom salts in her bath water (get her to have baths rather than just shower too for a few days) and see if it clears up.

Some of the countless health benefits include relaxing the nervous system, curing skin problems, soothing back pain and aching limbs, easing muscle strain, healing cuts, treating colds and congestion, and drawing toxins from the body. One of the simplest ways to ease stress and stress-related problems is to soak in a tub full of hot water with a few cups of Ultra Epsom® Salt. Some of the notable benefits of Epsom salt include:
