Not one but two with attitude problems and grumpiness!

HELP!

Trying to remember what I was like all those years ago and I know it'll get worse!

Anyone like to discuss?!

Boys? Girls?

Do they have anything that they like to apply themselves to? Any hobbies, sports?

Two girls.

Yes they both have clubs which they enjoy.

My youngest has gone from a sweet, loving and affectionate girl to stroppy, cheeky and rude over night. I'm struggling with the change in her. Really wasn't anticipated.

Think I need to get tougher.

Is the younger one bouncing off her sister? Seeing her sister's moods change and then copying and magnifying, for effect? It's fine to tell them that general disrespect is not ok and won't be tolerated. No matter how old they are.

I don't think so really, tbh the older one is mainly only hard work around her period. I think the younger one is getting it off her friends. She's nearing puberty and I think mainly it's that and I'm not being tough enough. I think I need to discipline her every time.

Is the attitude just towards you or towards each other and dad (presuming you're mum!) as well?

Towards me. Although her dad (we separated 5 years ago) has noticed it as well.

Early evening she was rude to me so I took her laptop from her. She seemed to take on board the punishment well. My older daughter has been lovely tonight, and since the incident earlier we've all had a lovely evening.

Wrestpin do you have experience with preteen's?
