Best book about periods for 8yo???

Unexpectedly ended up having the period conversation with 8yo DD this evening. Very chilled and easy - she instigated it based on something someone had said - and we had a really good chat. She was fascinated with it all. All felt very natural. But...although she's happy to talk about anything any time (as am I) I said I would get her a book and she was very keen on the idea. But which one? She's only just 8 so I want one that's suitable for younger girls, one that doesn't get too much into sex etc (she said she wants to read about puberty so let's start with that) I've looked up a few on Amazon but having read reviews am very unsure what to go for. Don't want one that (as the one I was going to buy does) says something about becoming a babe with a fabulous figure (!) and don't want to be getting into eating disorders and other stuff yet either. I just want an easy to understand book about her body and the changes she can expect that's pitched at girls of this age rather than, say 11+ and I would love recommendations TIA

I can't recommend a book (my DD is only 4) but there's an adolescence special edition of Operation Ouch. It was on iPlayer last week, may still be there. DS (7) and DD (4) were fascinated.

I've just bought "the care and keeping of you" for 8yo DD for similar reasons.

It covers everything from healthy eating to brushing your teeth and periods and puberty.

Haven't given it to her yet (in the middle of a house move, but it looks good)

Thank you - from the reviews it looks far more suitable than any of the others I have found (all of which are more appropriate for slightly older girls)
