Where can I buy gym shoes to fit very very narrow feet?

DD (just 3) is starting nursery pre-school next week. She is a size 7.5 (25) D but most shoes of that size are too big so we usually end up buying the only pair of shoes in the shop that fit her (if any at all) and often have to go down a size.

I have tried ds's old size 8 gym shoes on her but they are like boats.

I have been to Clarkes, Asda and Matalan but there weren't any small enough in any of these stores. Where else can I try?

If you can't find any perhaps you could sew black elastic on like you do with ballet shoes - I know its a horrible job though; for ballet shoes you fold the heel inwards flat and sew the elastic on at either side at the creases. Used to have the same problem - had to buy white lace up gym shoes (used to do them at Clarks but not know I suppose) which were better, but doesn't make you popular with teachers if DC can't do their own laces!

Just thought - perhaps black ballet pumps would do for indoor p.e.?
