Does your pre-school have a prospectus?

And what kind of info do you put into it?
Our new pre-school leader has been going through the mess that the old leader left behind and can't find anything that looks like a prospectus.
Only application forms and permission forms.
Thanks!

Of sorts. It's not very good, and one of my jobs for the summer is to revamp it.

It basically covers the following:

summary of how we work, e.g. charitable status, committee run, qualified staff with little profile of each staff member.

outline of a typical day, e.g. start / finish times, typical activities, typical things for snack etc.

overview of what we're required to do with them under EYFS.

information about uniform

admissions policy.

Most preschools round here have one and tbh most of them are really, really rubbish (the prospectuses, not the preschools).

Thanks for the info. I've also been looking on the internet and there are quite a few on there that we could adapt to our setting.

I echo MHB. It's nothing too formal, just a buch on information and policies.
