are pre-school vouchers changing?

My mother told me she had heard on the radio that vouchers were changing and "it was going to cost everyone a fortune". That's all she knew. I'm not even sure if it was referring to salary sacrifice or early years pre-school vouchers. Can anyone shed any light?

There was a piece on Radio 4 at the weekend about the possible threat to vouchers due to the cost of employers paying for these when staff are on unpaid maternity leave. It could be that.
