Ripeberry's pre-school saga continues...

Well, as you know our pre-school leader has resigned and the committee have accepted her resignation.
The new leader will be starting later this week and she met the old leader last week for a planning session.
The poor woman was just fed loads of horror stories and told how horrible the parents were and how no-one was going to help her.
Understandibly, our Chairman is not best pleased and has had to spend most of the morning calming the new leader down and now she is wondering if she can do the job.
Which would be a disaster if she does not want it as we have been advertising for grade 3's and there is just none of them about.
But i think most people are glad the old leader is leaving as no parent was that surprised when we told them she was going.
But how DARE she, be so nasty to a new person. The new leader was supposed to work in tamdem for the last few days but she does not want to see that woman ever again!
Please send your good vibes to our setting, this has been an "anus horribilis" as the Queen might say.

oh no! I hope your new leader calms down. Hearing all that negativity from the old leader can't have been a good introduction to the preschool I really hope things work out for you all.

The new leader has been invited to our next committee meeting so that she can meet everyone and see that we are not all that bad and so that she can see we are 100% behind her.
If she has changed her mind i really don't know what we are going to do

Thanks for all your support. Its just that of all the grade 3s we've found she's the only one who is willing to be a leader.
Most of them just seem to want to be deputies.
Maybe this EYFS has put lots more pressure on the ones who are the leaders?
The original leader left just before EYFS came in as she said she would not be able to cope.

The new pre-school leader met our committee last night and she is very relieved to see that we are a nice bunch of parents who are doing the best that we can.
She starts tomorrow.
Not many parents had much to say to our old leader who was leaving today, but we did get a bottle of wine as a leaving gift.
