Unsuitable lyrics for preschoolers?

Hi

I was v. surprised when dd1(almost 4) started jiving to a R&B song on the radio (I recognised the melody but had to look it up - it's v catchy and I thought I would download it for her). However, I am more than appalled at the lyrics (the song is Low Low by Flo Rida - sorry, can't do links!) and I'm wondering whether I'm a prude but this is not really suitable for youngsters to hear and dance to at preschool!??!

apple bottom jeans, boots with the fur, she got the whole club looking at her

that one?

i don't know all the lyrics but DD is 4 and knowns it too. it's on the radio all the time.

she sings it as "apple on your jeans and boots with fur. everyone looking at her, then they say hello hello hello"

it makes me smile each time.

Our pre-school uses the "Beat Babies" and its sung like a rap song, about babies climbing up the stairs and falling down!

I remember being quite surprised when dd came back from kindergarten singing "The Advert Song" complete with actions.

Oh my 2 are 3 and 4 and both love that song, they both know all the words and do little dance moves, they've only heard it on the radio but sing it alllllll the time.
