Toddler groups in Leeds

Hi, moving to Roundhay, Leeds mid Sept and wondered if anyone knew of any toddler groups in that area. Your help would be appreciated, thanks.

Hi there...there are a few that I know of towards Headingly, but I'm not sure about Roundhay.

There is a sure start centre at the bottom of Chapeltown Road where there are various groups etc. You could check on the website.

There are aslo various NCT coffee groups...again, the website would be the best bet.

There have been some MN meet-ups as well. Keep your eye out for the next one!

PS...have you tried mumsnet local for the Leeds area?

Thanks for advice daisy, have tried local site but no replies. Will do some research. Living in Harrogate at mo and have some really good groups so may travel back for one of those.

Hi - used to live in Headingley area of Leeds. There is definately one at St Chads church on the Otley Road and also one at cottage road (off the otley road). Both were pleasant..Cottage road one ran some mornings which was great! Had a few friends in Roundhay and there were loads going on around there....St Edwards..seems to ring a bell?!?

Hi if you're still looking then these might be useful:

Fridays: there's a church on shaftesbury avenue which has one but it gets really busy
alternatively, I go to one at the methodist church on springwood road (oakwood/roundhay) which is fab. starts at 10 am.
there's also one on a thursday morning at the methodist church on lidgett park road - I think.
