Preparation for private girls school

Hi - I am getting my daughter ready for 3+ assessments for private school in the northwest london area. Are there any tips on what I should be doing with her to get her ready? Also are there any recommendations on nurseries / Montessori's which are good at preparing them well /and also not so good so I can avoid?
Daughter is already in a nursery but not sure they are up to scratch with school prep. Turning 2 soon so maybe a good time to move if necessary.
Thanks

This will be highgate presumably? not much you can do, it's an entirely random process.

It depends on Which girl schools are you interested in and which part of nw London you live in?

I hear very good things about Hampstead hill. They are till 7+ and have excellent results.

Hampstead Hill won't prepare for anything before 7+ though and if you apply for 4+ or 5+ they won't guarantee your space there for the next year.

Turning 2 soon

Do you mean your DD is still only circa 22 - 23 months old?

I may have misunderstood.

If she's already 2 you're definitely a bit late getting a tutor. You may be able to catch up with 3 hrs a day coaching but you must act quickly or your 2 ur old may not perform adequately in her assessment! Alternatively, let her be 2, take her to the 'assessment' and be herself and send her to a school which suits her. Jeez with parents like you no wonder kids are breaking under pressure.
