Hi everyone! I am relocating from New York to London with my husband (who will be commuting to Victoria) and 16 month old daughter very soon. We were originally looking in Chiswick, Richmond and Fulham, but are not seeing anything on the market currently suitable for our needs within budget. I am just wondering if anyone has thoughts on or experience in Clapham? Is it safe? Toddler friendly with parks and activities? We have seen several nice housing options there, but are unsure about the area and schools. Thank you so much for any input!

Luckily for you, you are moving to Yummy Mummy Centrale. Clapham has plenty of toddler friendly places. There's Clapham Common which is a lovely spot and big enough for you both to find a quiet spot for a picnic if that's your wish. Clapham Picture House has regular showings of toddler friendly screenings. I am sure there's a wealth of playgroups too. You're actually spoilt for choice! And if you want to go for something to eat, there's always Northcote Rd - they don't call it Nappy Valley for nothing!
Good luck with the move. Smile
