What do you love about it?

What do you not love about it?

I have been volunteering at ds's old preschool, and have the opportunity to do a level 3 qualification in early years, and am in a quandary!

I love the age group, I love seeing the children make progress and knowing that I've contributed to it.

I don't love the paperwork and the difficulties we sometimes have within our team. I don't love my bosses (really hope I'm not identifiable!!!). I don't love changing children. I don't love it when children have difficulties (behavioural or their home life) that I can't help them with.

I love being a part of children's lives. I love their humour and acceptance. I love being a part of their development and knowing I've helped to shape them. I love seeing them blossom and I love seeing them in school and when they are older.
I don't like the paperwork and being so regulated. I don't like how some people look down pm me because I work with children.I ddon't like how the goalposts keep changing. I don't like waiting for Ofsted to inspect knowing the grading is so subjective depending on the inspectors views
I love my job and wouldn't want to do anything else

Ireland -so not far away. We have curriculums and standards called Aistear and Siolta. We seem to have constantly changing ways of recording them with more and more paperwork. However, it still means I love the job- seeing the children going off to "big" school with confidence and belief in themselves is just fantastic.
