Anyone fancy explaining to me in words of one syllable what options I have for 2yo DS1 once a week or more often?

Our pre-school playgroup takes from 2 years when accompanied by parent (have to be at least 2.5 before can be left).

throckenholt, these pre school playgrops are private or of state. I am interested as ds1 is soon going to be 2.5

Dd has started playgroup - is a privately run one, but can use the vouchers once she is 3. They take them from 2.5.

Other than that - story time at the library?

Our school nursery (where they go from 3) has wraparound care that is now available to 2 year olds who then filter into the school nursery - the advantage is that they are like a private nursery but is on the school premises, looka fter them in the holidays and take them to and from nursery! I can see more schools doing this - income from renting out a school room and guaranteeing a regular supply of kids for the nursery! The day care one has to turn people away as they are full!
