Can't celebrate Christmas?

DS's new nursery are having end of term party on Friday. No pressies, no Santa and No mention of Christmas. They have a Christmas Tree though? I was shocked when they said no decorations...
What's a Christmas Tree then? It even has a star!
Is the world going mad.
His previous nursery embraced all religions and festivities that went along with them. It was great.
