A question about the 15hrs funding.

Can someone advise me please. If my child attends One two private early years settings, is it possible to claim 15hrs entitlement from the first setting, and claim zero hours from the second setting?

I don't want to lie on the form and say she is only attending the first setting, but setting one have said they may not be able to claim her funding as she attends more han one nursery.

Surely they are wrong. Neither place is state funded at all, so I should be able to claim 15 hours from just the one place.

You can claim from both settings as long as you don't exceed 15 hours. So you could have 7 hours at one setting and 8 at the other it doesn't matter. Or you can claim from just one setting as long as both settings are private settings. If you attend a maintained setting then that is where your 15 hours will go

But in our county you must have a signature from the other setting even if they aren't claiming

Both places have signed the form. Its the one who is claiming the full 15 hours who thinks there may be a problem and she won't get paid. Both settings are private so I can't understand why she is worried. She wanted me to sign the form listing her setting as the only setting being attended.

That's odd

I wonder why?

Why not offer to cover the money if she doesn't get it

She will get it so it will be fine

Itis entirely up to you which establishment you use to claim the vouchers , we have lot's of children at our pre school who use ultiple establishments and only claim for one , it isn't generally a problem.
