Since I’m not supposed to talk about my stash in real life can I do it here???
I may have got a tiny bit carried away with toilet rolls...I have been gradually building up my stash over the last few months. I’m lucky in that I have a big built in cupboard in a bedroom so have been sticking stuff in there. Decided to give it a tidy... I have 6 packets of 18 loo rolls... for three of us... I could lie on there and hide in their softness...
I think I have a toilet roll problem...

I have 36 rolls in my Brexit stash.... that's enough for a month off so - but you make me feel like I need more!

Im building a loo roll stash. It’s one of life’s essentials.

Bristol university has massive (we’re talking millions) stockpiled for halls including loo roll, frozen and tinned/dried food. ProVC said they’d be eating pasta bake for the rest of the year. I suspect other large institutions have done likewise- except hospitals who can’t afford to.

Ours are on top of the wardrobe in our bedroom. I actually lay in bed counting them last night; I've got 66 rolls for 4 of us and I'm debating getting more in my shop today. I may be going overboard! On the other hand they'll eventually get used so....

Well I figure it’s one thing we can’t do without and while I don’t buy the expensive ones I do need non fluffy because ds won’t use anything else...£4.49 for 18 ones from b/m... I have also got tissues and kitchen paper- lots of pets so use it a lot too... it makes me a smile when I see it...

Seriously, that is nothing.
I feel insecure if I have less than a years supply, I recently dropped below that magic number & had to rush out to rectify the issue with a generous safety margin. :-)

I should point out that I don't just do this for Brexit.
It's a way of life for me.

Why not just buy them as you need them? I have a pack in the go and a new one on the wardrobe

There are five of us and we use roughly 12 week. I have four 12 packs stashed so that’s only a months worth. I aim to get another 4 this month.

Naturally I have a general prepper take on thisGrinConfused. Because I have MS, I can have multiple "ishoos". If I just say that I NEED paper, that should address it.
The easiest solution is to buy loads of loo roll. But space can be a big issue. You can squash rolls so you are not storing "air". There are expandable pound coin ish sized towels you can buy in bulk- like the Disney flannels you can get for kids but thinner and plain white. Obviously you shouldn't flush these once ... ahem ... used. There are also portable bidets - like a small drinks bottle with a directional ... jet.. squirt ...that you ....direct by squeezing by hand.
In what I hope is the unlikely event that bog roll runs short, I would be asking my household to use the alternatives for wee.
I also suggest, for general interest and not for Brexit, you google "Christchurch " and "composting toilet ", for an explanation of how the good people of Christchurch managed when an earthquake took out . the water and sewage. But only if you want to GrinSmile

I bought another three 18 packs this morning. I won't say how many there are in the loft already since it will look like we have a loo roll obsession..

I appear to have 35 rolls of 4-ply, and some packs of kitchen roll, too. Not a space problem, though, as they're happily hiding under the spare bed. I've told myself sternly though, that this is enough now... I don't want to become the toilet paper lady.
