Anyone else watching this? I really enjoy it, except the guns

I steer clear and don't steer clear of this kind of thing (not on Netflix). There's an interesting book called One Second After which is an American one. Also with guns.

And a better UK book called Powerless which I would go so far as to recommend. In short, the power suddenly goes out for reasons unknown. The main protagonist lives in the country and already has some "preps" as part of that life. I won't leave spoilers but it is worth seeking out and there are very few guns.

I've read One Second After. Very interesting and thought-provoking if a bit extreme. Who is Powerless by, please?

I'll look up America Unplugged. Is it a bit like Doomsday Preppers? I've watched a few of those on YouTube but found them very unappealing, not least because of all the guns. Also they were so extreme, and people always prepped for the most outrageous of reasons.

Powerless is by Suzanne Goldring.
