We were doing MILs wood today and tbh we are both knackered. Bearing in mind we do this every yr, as well as our own and our auntys wood, little bit of crop farming, berry picking, OH hunts and maintains his forest etc. And we have machines and electricity/petrol for this shit at the moment.
I'm starting to think our prepping should be more about fitness as we are after all only getting older.
Do you do any fitness prep so you would be able to actually cope if you needed to do your wood, whilst also growing veg, hunting for your meat / rearing animals, picking berries for food etc all by hand / manual power (not to mention care for the kids of course)?
(feeling old and sore tonight)
