Pregnancy after pPROM at 22 weeks

Hi, I'm looking to hear about your experiences please

I had premature prelabour rupture of membrane at 22 weeks, my daughter hung on for 1 weeks and was born, but unfortunately passed away soon after.

Drs are unsure why, my cervix was 29cm when they scanned me 2 days after my waters broke. (not sure if my cervix shortened but then lengthened again) I was GBS positive (but many women are, and they don't go into premature labour).

Have any of you experiences this, and did it happen in subsequent pregnancies as well? All advice and opinions welcome!

Sorry to hear aboutthe sad outcome for your wee daughter I know this was posted a while back but I havd pprom with my first son didnt relise he was born about 4 weeks later at 30 weeks. My second son was born at 35 weeks due to pprom also. Um 28 weeks now with my thurd son and iv had two rounds of antibiotics so far during this pregnancy for recuring GBS I am seen at the preterm prevention clinic every two weeks I have started getting ffn tests fortnightly although I dont know how that can predict pproms. For me I think im just unfortunate to be one of the rear women who get ruptured membraines due to GBS. Aslong as Im swabed regularly and get antibiotics when needed this little one could stay put until fully cooked.
