Hi, my little girl was born at 24+5 days old weighting 690g. On day 5 she became very sick and rushed to surgery where 5cm of her bowel was removed + stoma was created. Now she is 3 months in NICU weighting 1600kg and the reversal surgery will be in three days. The plan was for her to go home with stoma but she is not gaining weight that's why the surgery will happen sooner. The help her gain the weight she put on so far she had long line inserted three times. Any infection causes her to loose to much thru stoma and the weight gain stops. Anyone had this kind of experience?
