Corrected age vs birth age

My twins were born at 32 weeks (9 weeks ago) and their 40 week due date was on 23 Oct (1 week ago). I have a week by week baby book which details what to vaguely expect in terms of development each week. But I’m confused as to whether I should be looking at week 1 or week 9! What age do you consider your preemie to be, actual or corrected?
Thanks 😀

12 months minimum apart from vaccination schedules. I had a 32 weeker (Singleton) 15 years ago now so my info may me outdated but that is what I remember re development

Sorry my post didn’t actually answer your post, I would consider your twins 1week old as all these development guidelines are usually written based on studies of term babies

My lb was premature, born at 35 weeks. You should measure their milestones according to their corrected age until they’re two.

Use their corrected age for milestones. Tommys used to have an app - perhaps still do for corrected growth charts. I had a few HVs that didn't understand it so was useful to track myself

My son was born at 27 weeks. He's 2 now and although he's almost caught up I was told by the health visitor that they still consider their corrected age up to 5 years.
