Has my abortion worked/ is it working?

I’ve just had an abortion at 6 weeks. I took the first pill on Wednesday and the second lot of pills inserted vaginally yesterday at 2pm, After 3 hours I had some discomfort it felt like trapped wind pain, I’d taken ibuprofen, after 4 1/2 hours I started bleeding and as I got up to go to the toilet I felt I passed a large clot in my pad, when I went to the loo it fell out into the toilet but I couldn’t see what it was because the water was red. I have passed a few very small blood clots since and I’m still bleeding! I’ve never experienced period cramps so I’m not sure wether what I felt was cramping or not! I’ve read online that the whole experience is extremely painful and drawn out but I’ve experienced no pain at all, could I have passed the pregnancy even without the pain??

It sounds like how mine was. I had very little pain, passed a clot and then had bleeding like a period for a week.

Very easy and nothing like the stories I had read.

Mine definitely worked.

Thankyou so much, elzbells!
I heard some of these horror stories may be written by anti abortion protesters to put you off but I’m not too sure!!!
I was just so nervous no pain meant it wasn’t working:)

Yes I was worried as well as I had very mild pain. Are you very early? My first appt they couldn't do it as I was so early they couldn't locate the sac. I think I was just over 5 weeks when I took the tablets.

I think the further on you are the worse it is for obvious reasons but since I've had mine I've read lots of posts on here also saying it's not as bad as expected.

I was about 5 weeks and 6 days so basically 6 weeks!!!
I’m glad there was no pain because that’s what I was most scared about, I’m glad you didn’t feel much pain either:)
I’m still feeling a bit uncomfortable, my belly is gurgling a little bit that’s about it!

I had an abortion 2 weeks ago and the first day felt no pain, however ended being rushed to hospital as I was haemorrhaging. About 3 day after that ordeal then the contraction like pains came and to this day are still there. Unfortunately the pregnancy test they gave me has come back positive so that may have something to do with why I’m in so much discomfort. Fingers crossed that’s it for you x
