Part way through medical abortion - petrified after Letzz

I was supposed to he having a surgical procedure today but when I arrived at the clinic they said I couldn’t do (after waiting 4hrs and being in the gown!) due to having a previous letz procedure on my cervix.

So I’ve taken the first of the medical abortion pills, got to go back tomorrow for the second (vaginally) I am petrified. The nurse told me how incredibly painful it ‘could’ be. I am almost 6 weeks according to their scan. I didn’t want to wait another 2 weeks and have it under a general which Is what I was offered.

Firstly has anyone had an ok medical experience? Secondly has anyone had it after a lletz treatment for abnormal cervical cells? I’m so scared it might be even more painful!

Hi @cherrytreehouse how did you get on? Was it okay in the end? I find it strange you couldn't get a surgical because of your lletz. I had lletz last year and just had a surgical as I wasnt a candidate for medical due to other problems.
Was your lletz recent? Anyway I hope you're recovering at this hard time. X
