Bleeding after termination

I had a medical termination on 1 August. The bleeding afterwards was more or less what I expected for the first couple of weeks, then the second couple, it was still on and off - it never seemed to go away completely but was just tailing off/brown spotting. I felt it was finally over maybe 3 or 4 days ago. But since yesterday there's been fresh red blood again. I have no idea if this could just be my period, due to the timing? But I'm slightly worried that there might still be stuff left inside. I've not felt horrible or had a high temperature or anything, but am still worried about possible infection.

Any advice - or is this just par for the course?
