Where have you been feeling your babys kicks?

I am now 27 weeks and have been feeling movement since about 22 weeks.

I tend to feel kicks really low down - like hairline area!! Sometimes when he is upside down I feel them above my belly button, but they are nearly always down the right hand side - I do feel SOME movement down the left but not a lot - should I be worried that its pretty concentrated to the middle and the right hand side? My bumy is also a lot harder on the right than the left.

The midwife had a feel on Friday - but she didn't say anything.

I would say that your bump being harder on the right suggests that baby's back is to your right so it's the body making you wonky.
I am due with my second and kicks are mostly up front this time, while for DC1 they were mainly to the sides. I think it depends where your placenta is lying, as it acts as a bit of a cusion so baby might be kicking you there but you wouldn't feel it either yet (at 22 weeks) or at all.
If you are really worried about this though you should ask your midwife for some reasurance.

Chelle Have been feeling exactly the same! Was even searching for threads this weekend on the same subject.

Am 32 weeks and all kicks are really low down and to the right, with only a very occasional one to the left. MW at 28 wks wondered about breech, which is why I was searching for threads on others' experiences.

My previous 2 kicked in different places, and DD used to feel like she was playing thr piano across the bottom of my bump, but both were head down. Not sure about this one, but still plenty of time to turn...

I have an anterior placenta and have been feeling movements since about 19 weeks. I am now 24 weeks and where I feel movements tends to change from day to day. Sometimes around the bottom of my bump and then either to the right of left sides higher up, very rarely anything down the midline. When I had my last midwife appointment at 22 weeks she said baby was lying transverse but I think it still moves position loads.

I wouldn't worry that you're feeling movement more in some places than others, i think that is totally normal.

With my first i was feeling kicks outwards all over my belly but with this one (im 22 wks) they tend to be inside kicks - dont really know how to explain so i hope you get what i mean! like kicking (without sounding gross) towards my back/bum direction which is strange as i dont see my belly moving much with the kicks bbeing inwards - she definately likes her space tho, if i ever squash my belly or rest anything on the bottom half she just boots it out the way...that goes when my bladder starts filling up aswell!
Maybe things will change once she gets bigger im just so worried about her getting into the rite position for birth this time round i cant wait until she is pretty much stuck upside down so i know shes al ready in place!
