Pregnancy

Am I, Aren't I. Don't know?

I've changed my name because I feel a bit embarassed that I don't really know this!

I have a strange feling that I might be pregnant. See what you think.

I have been feeling sick in the mornings for about 2 weeks now and not both but one of my boobs had started to hurt (quite strange) but but but my AF arrived.
Last month my AF came a bit earlier than normal which I though was a bit strange but forgot about it until I had the sicky feelings.

I really thought I might have been pg up until AF came but you hear stories of women who've had af's right throughout their pregnancy.

What do you think?

Yes. I have been feeling very tired, have crampy feelings, a horrible metallic taste in my mouth (so horrible I've been cleaning my teeth 4 or 5 times a day!!) AND I had one very sore boob last week!!! BUT my mirena coil is still in place. Can't quite believe I'm going to have to do a test. My dd is only 11mths old and I start a new great job in 2 wks.

maybemaybenot · 28/07/2005 14:18

The one boob is normal then?!

My only other thought is that I might have been and I may have miscarried but nothing seems different.

Are you testing now Toothache?

I'm at work, but I'm going to buy a test in Boots at the train station on the way home. I'll probably do the test in the grotty train toilet..... then throw myself off the train if 2 lines appear.

lol!

No seriously don't do that !!!

Will get test tomorrow I think if the sickness doesn't pass. I can't see it being positive though with AF being here.

MBMBN - When will you test?

I have absolutely NO idea when my last period was!! I still get periods with the coil, but my cycle seems longer. I know I've had one in July.... I just can't think when! And DH and I haven't been near each other in at least a fortnight...... so if I am pregnant I will be about 6 or 7 wks AND will have had a period too.

BarefootMama · 28/07/2005 14:27

my friend has just found out she is pg with the coil!

Before I fell pregnant this time I had 2 early miscarriages (or so we think) Is your period heavier than normal? Apparantly it is very common to have early miscarriages without even knowing. I did a test with both but they showed up negative but I felt sick, had sore boobs and was exhausted - spoke to the doc and she said it sounded likely I had early miscarriages and a negative result isn't always accurate, particularly if there is a problem. On the other hand I have heard of women who go through pregnancy still having bleeds. I would go to your doc if symptoms continue.

BFM - OH NOOOOOO! Was it the Mirena Coil or the non-hormone one????? Is she okay? Is the baby okay???

I'll be very very very shocked if I am even though some signs are there. Dh will probably collaspe and my other LO will have no idea

I had an early miscarriage the month before I conceived my other LO. The bleeding wasn't heavier but the pain I had was excruiating. So bad that I passed out a few times.

Tbh I have noticed a few clots when I've been to the loo but I don't know if that's just because they're appearing at the time I need to wee or if there is an actual problem IYKWIM.

How old is your LO?
My ds is 4 and dd 11mths. Don't have room for another one, they share a bedroom as it is.

Good luck tomorrow!!!

LO is nearly 2.

We have no room for another. We said that we would extend the house ready for no.2 when we'd paid our loan off and dh was only saying last night how bad things are getting money wise

However if I am, I'll be very happy.

Hi,Im in a similar situtation.
About 2 weeks ago i started having symptoms of sore boobs, headaches, tiredness and grumbly belly. This was about a week before my AF, so i was wondering if these were pregnancy symptoms. However AF arrived one day late but only lasted for 2 days instead of my usual 4/5 days. I am now wondering if this could of been implantation bleeding or something as i am still(over a week later) feeling extremerly tired, having headaches/light headedness, backache and strange grumbly belly thats worse in the morning.
What do you think?

Toothache · 28/07/2005 14:40

Pigleychez - I think you need to be testing too. C'mon we'll all announce the results tomorrow.... odds are ONE of us is pg. [nervous]

Gingerbear - I don't know, but I must've done something awful in a previous life.

Report
maybemaybenot · 28/07/2005 14:40

Like you said pigleychez it could be an implantation bleed but like the rest of us there is only one true way to find out!
