Just got some great maternity jeans from New Look

Well, I didn't actually get them from New Look, they are from ebay, but they are New Look jeans and they are fab. They have elasticated pockets, as well as button adjusters on the sides. Despite being a generous size twelve with chunky thighs they are really flattering.

The list said they were only two months old, I think they are these ones actually. Really recommend them.

I've got these, they are amazing! Got them at 3 months and still wearing them now (39 weeks). Also, very ego flattering as mine are a size 10 and there's no way I'm really that tiny!!

I'm just hoping they'll last for a good year afterwards too!

thanks for the tip. I'm back in the UK for a few weeks after easter and my main mission is to buy maternity clothes as they're hard to get in western sizes where I live.

Will check out NL and will also be hammering at the door of Oxford St Top Shop at 9.30.

I had those. They were good but I do prefer a good wedge of elastic fabric over me bump when im pregnant, I unfortunately have no hips whatsoever so found them very hard to keep up.

NL do great maternity leggings which wash really well and keep their shape. I still wear mine 3 months after giving birth

Thanks for the tips ladies. I'm going to buy my first ever maternity clothes on Saturday so will head to New Look!

Can anyone recommend anywhere else that does good maternity clothes, especially smartish work clothes that don't cost a fortune?

I hate over the bump trousers amazingbouncingferret, but then I am not lacking in the hip department so these pose no problem!

My last pair were from DP which I really liked, but all they have at the mo are big elasticated trousers and jeans.

Mothercare, Next, Debenhams and H&M have brilliant maternity ranges, I've bought some great items from all of them. Ditto 'ABF' the NL leggings are brilliant!

I've got a good pair of maternity jeans (skinny flare) from Sew Look too, but they're not the kind with the adjustable buttons at the sides - I find the material of the adjustable bits really scratchy next to my skin. These ones have just got a thick stretchy waistband and they are super comfortable.

I saw some fantastic skinny black maternity jeans in there too, but when I tried them on I discovered they were a 28 inch leg and only came down to my shins. if anyone sees a pair of black skinnny size 12 mat jeans with stretchy waistband anywhere, please let me know!

Ive got them too - v comfy - didn't think I would like under bump jeans but these are better than the pumpkin patch ones that cost me £35!

Also for the bargin hunters out there Primark have made their stretchy vest tops (£1.50 each) longer and are fab, even at 39 weeks I am fitting into a 16 (normally 12/14) and have ample 'tuck in' material very comfy to wear if wearing jeans and thin enough to wear under tshirts/ jumpers (vest style). Much more cost effective than 2 for £9.99 maternity ones in other places I could mention.
