Terrible waves of sickness this late in pregnancy???

Just wondered if anyone had experienced anything similar?

I am 36 + 2 and keep getting horrible, full on waves of sickness, I am not actually sick but very very nearly and they come every couple of minutes and it can last hours. The only way I can get through them is by breathing heavily and panting! It is nasty! There are no other symptons.

Has anyone had this?

I had gastritis in my second pregnancy which meant I was having food poisoning type symptons, including throwing up. Could it be something like that? Hope it isn't as mine went on for nearly a year after DS2 was born
