Congratulations!! Boys are wonderful!

It's all so scary, good luck with the rest of your pregnancy my little boy hung around until he was forced out- perfect when he finally arrived though!

Got mine 21st April, hoping to be able to find out too.

Aww that's lovely.

Completely threw us when we found out we were expecting a boy - we didn't have a preference but somehow had it in our heads that it would be a girl.

He's now 17 months and the most wonderful little person. I can't imagine having a girl at all!

That's so lovely, congratulations

Am hoping to find out what our DC2 is in a few weeks. We already have a DD but I'll be happy with whatever flavour we get

Congratulations!

I've seen so many people here complaining about having boys that it's a relief to see someone happy with that!

By the way, mine (due the end of April) is a boy too and I'm really happy about that.

thanks everyone!!

still smiling!!

wanted to share some good news as unfortunately during pregnancy there can be a lot of bad news - but we must not forget our miracles!!

i really dont understand people who dont want boys, a healthy baby is a miracle in my eyes. my little brother is 3 and i adore him and there's 21 years between us!! he is so loving and loyal, just as much as little girls....

good luck everyone with the rest of your pregnancies esp shroedinger for the end of april which incidentally when my birthday is!! all the best people born then

Congratulations! I'm having a little boy (apparently!) in June and I'm so so excited! I too didn't mind at all, and found out because my OH was desperate to know. It's lovely seeing a little healthy bouncing baby on that screen isn't it!

I'm sure I've got a lazy one though, doesn't kick sometimes for ages til I give him a prod. He'll be there til 42 weeks I reckon!

Congratulations again!

Congratulations to you! We have a DS and he is the light of our lives (shortly to be joined by DD who will also be , but we would have been more than happy with another boy as they are just so lovely).

Congratulations!

I lost my son last year due to a birth accident and it breaks my heart when people complain about the fact that they are having a boy. A healthy baby that arrives safe and sound is a blessing that we should never take for granted.

We are having a baby brother for our ds and are delighted, although would have been happy either way so long as this one comes out screaming .

How lovely to read a positive thread about having a boy child for a change Boys are wonderful

Report
NonnoMum · 20/03/2010 23:37

Congrats, congrats.

Even in summer, it's still nice to get them some full-length baby gros (INMO). Think the little cotton legs and arms absorb all those sweaty hans that will want to hold him!

In fact, vest and baby-gros for ages. You will get given loads of little jeans and things, which are v cute but not nearly as soft and lovely as baby-gros!

My baby boy is v v smiley and is so in love with me, he cries when I leave the room . My girls are like that with their daddy...

I had a couple of pairs of scratch mitts, but never used them, not sure if anyone does?

I had loads of socks but they were really only for colour coordinating with his little shirts I don't think they really need them, unless their little feet will be getting cold, but most travel type things have feet in them don't they?

Sun hats are good though and super cute!
