I have now taken 8 !!! (Yes 8!)clear blue tests. I am getting annoyed and obsessed with the results... everytime i take them, a thin blue line forms after 10 mins. I don't think its a positive as it comes up after the time. But i know you are meant to throw them away, but why on earth do they form this cross after a time.... i feel its really bad if you are trying for a baby and actually think you may be and its just the stupid test!!! aaaaggghhhh, had to vent my frustration......

the only way is to wait til you're definitely past the day your period was due and do a digital test with first morning wee. I drove myself mad with tests when ttc my 2 as the lines were always really faint at first - only got peace of mind when I did the digital.

i took a test that took about that time for a faint line to appear. took another one the next day same went doctors and am now 30 weeks pregnant maybe try a different brand. or wait a few days to test again it could be the levels of hmg r low.

I've found best results with the cheapie ones from eBay (reputable companies, naturally), which can detect lower HPG levels than the ones you buy at the chemist. With those I had faint positives on Sunday and, finally, today have had a strong positive. I seem to remember that you said you were only just about due on, possibly not quite yet? In which case you could still be. Wishing you lots of luck!

Hey, I know they are expensive, but the digital ones leave no room for confusion.... it says pregnant or not pregnant.... at least that way you can't drive yourself nuts trying to decide if it says yes or no by the darkness of line!!

Wishing you luck

I agree with CazEM; the digital ones are the best. I tried the liney ones and got the same results as you; 3 days later I did a digital one and got a BFP it doesn't half p*ss you off though; how hard can it be to produce a test that's right? 99% accurate my arse!

Argh, I hate CB non digis. I have had lines come up immediately, very not helpful when they are BFNs

First Response are great. When I got my positive result it was on an internet cheapie first, and then on an FR to confirm...I wasn't going to waste all that money on a negative!

I did do a CB Digi a few days leter, just to see the words come up...
