I am 30 weeks pg. Last night I had about 2 hours sleep as DD-to-be had decided that practising for the Winter Olympics 2030 all night was a good plan. Now I'm at work and even 2 strong coffees haven't helped. Aaargh! How am I meant to hold down a professional job for 6 more weeks? I'm not even looking forward to maternity leave as then will be at home f/t with a toddler... Anyone care to add their moans, so that I do not feel alone?

ooh ooh, me first...32 weeks, totally fed up, back at work (techer) after half term, and only 5 weeks left until I go..but totally exhuseted, couldn't sleep due to restless legs, woken up after 4 hrs by baby bouncing on my size of a satsuma baldder, and generally have just had enough. Agony walking anywhere due to terrible backache, plus managed to tear a ligament in my leg day yesterday slipping on my kitchen floor...exams to oversee and a whole tonne of coursework to mark before I can even think about finishing work, plus handing over so the incompetents in my department don't royally f**k everything up by the time I get back...aaargh! oh well, only another 8 weeks (at least...) until we meet our baby, chin up!

Hi I am 29 weeks pg and have a very busy 3 year old daughter. I am also very tired and have stairs at work that I have to climb every time my boss need something from the downstairs office. I cannot get comfortable to sleep at night and just as I fall asleep I have to wake up again to go to the loo and and my ribs are turning blue from all the kicking. I have another 6 weeks left untill maternity leave. Oh and my hubby leaves work at 6 am in the mornings and only gets home at 8:30 at night so there is not much help in the house.

yep, you win Ricci2! Although had forgotten about the ribs...briefly...must be having a day of respite from the 'head in the ribs' pain!

Its good to get it off your chest though, I feel awful moaning in real life, should just be grateful I am pregnant and baby is healthy..

holytoast- ooh the restless legs!! it's a killer isn't it! I'm 34+2, and tomorrow is my last day before maternity leave. I'm phsically sooo ready to go, but not so much mentally as leaving work means LO is nearly here!! My DP gets up at 4am for his first job, and when his alarm goes off I've normally been asleep for around 2 hours then he's out in the evenings for his second job, and doesn't get in sometimes until 2am...so absolutely no help around the house or with our 3 and a half year old. My 'morning' sickness seems to have returned..in the middle of the night and I have constant backache. Oh and nosebleeds. And I gave up smoking at week 2, but still craving

on the bright side, only 6 weeks to go!!
