Hi, I'm 34 weeks and mw has said the baby is is lying back to back, does anyone know if there is anything I can do to turn the baby round? My Ds was back to back and the labour was awful.

My midwife said there are exercises you can do,sitting forward is supposed to help, maybe get an exercise ball to sit on,my dd was back to back so feel your pain!
Also lying on your left side is supposed to be best,
i will definitely be doing the exercises this time round,
good luck

Thank you, have got the gym ball out and will try sleeping on left side, typical that I'm more comfortable sleeping on right side do not want to have another back to back labour!

spend time on hands and knees.
do not lie on back or recline on sofa AT ALL
focus when sitting on knees lower than hips.

Yes don't think i could go through that again either especially as the doc today said they'd keep an eye on me as last two were big babies for my frame, there's no way I'm squeezing a 9lb+ out back to back!

MumNWlondon advice all good - hands and knees lots amd don't let your knees get higher than your hips so cushions if sitting at work or when driving. My first B2B and was 50hrs with EMCS (only got to 4cm). 2nd in good position and 7 hours natural - what a difference. Good things is you still have time. check out spinningbabies.com too.
