symptomless pregnancy

I've been hesitating to post for fear of putting off all the nauseated, exhausted, tender-breasted newly-pregnant of you, but dearly would like some comfort in thinking that a symptomless pg can still be viable! I have 3 DC and mc'd between the first and second, where I felt exactly as I do now: not pg, even though three tests say I am. But even in my last two pg's I barely had a symptom, at least in the first trimester. No sickness, no aches, no breast tenderness (nor growth--it's so unfair! I'm 32AA!), nothing, nothing, nothing. I'm only 7 weeks, so it feels like ages to wait before my first scan. Does ANYONE feel the same?

Hi, Im just over 13 weeks pregnant and ive had no symptoms whatsoever, this is my first pregnancy so was also very concerned about this and posted lots of threads similar to yours and got lots of replies with people saying they too had symptomless pregnancies which turned out fine.

Had my scan last week and little bubba was absolutely perfect.
Dont give up hope, just be glad your not sick

(although yes i agree with you, bigger boobs would be nice! - Im 32B)

TishTosh--that is so nice to know! Glad you had a perfect scan. Most of my friends suffer horrendously when pg so it's good to hear from you.

No problem im sure this pregnancy will go swimmingly, you may also find that in a week or so you could have nausea, tender boobs etc so i wouldnt dismiss them yet!

Good luck with the rest of the pregnancy

I'm 10 weeks and it's pretty much the same as with my dd, though I am tired quicker this time round. If you're 'lucky' heartburn will kick in at about 15 weeks - that's the only thing I had! I am constantly starving though, that started about 3 weeks ago. (goes off to finish the bit of ice cream left in the fridge)

Snap with hophophippidyhop! I'm 10 weeks and just been tired, irritable and starving which isn't too much different to my non pregnant state!! No sickness although my sense of smell has increased. I've done 4 tests as this is my first pregnancy and was expecting from all friend and family reports to be struck down with constant vomiting. Scan is a week on Friday and will be relieved to have official confirmation that there really is a baby in there - all being well.

I had a symptom heavy pg with dd morning sickness/sore boobs/tiredness/horrible headaches the lot. She was my first baby and I felt like shite for the first 4 months. With my subsequent 2 pregnancies (both boys) I was fine,I had no symptoms for the first few months whatsoever. Any pg related complaints I had were more mechanical (spd and heartburn in the later stages) for example, well apart from gestational diabetes with ds2, but that wasn't really a symptom.

Please don't worry, it really is possible to have a succesfull pg without all the symptoms that people talk about. I worried so much that I didn't have ms etc with my boys, but really there is no need at all, not everybody will suffer.

Yes i was the same with both my DD's (although my boobs did get huge) but apart from that none of the usual pregancy symptoms at all.

thanks, everyone, for the reassurance. It's lovely to hear, especially that there are so many of us who get to enjoy being pregnant. although I'll still be a knicker-checker, at least until my scan.

Hi - I'm 10 + 4...or at least I hope I am as I have no symptoms either!!! I do have breast pain but that seems to come and go.

I am always tired and hungry in my normal state so can't say that I've been feeling more so when pregnant. Am worried as well as I seem to have no real 'proof' of pregnancy (well apart from 6 BFPs and a blood test at 5 weeks!) I have my scan in 6 days and am gearing myself up for disappointment...silly I know!

Grrr....I guess I would be moaning if I had really bad morning sickness so can't really win

i believe i am 5 weeks and other than 3 positive tests, have NO other indication that i'm pregnant. i keep reading about sore boobs and tiredness, even this early on, but nothing. at least if i did show something it would make me feel that things are going ok, instead of worrying like i am

You are very lucky not to have any sickness, as I felt horrific for a while. But I understand your concern. I had a very nice GP who referred me for an early scan, so I had a scan at 8 weeks to reassure me. Maybe you could do the same if you are worried, or you can pay for one.
