Hiccups

I am 34 weeks - baby appears to be hiccuping (gentle little rhythmic jumps at regular intervals) anywhere between 3-7 times a day. Anyone else get this? Do a lot of babies hiccup this much?
I can feel the little jumps low down in my pelvic area, so i'm presuming this must mean that the head is down there. Seems to make sense as i get stronger 'kick' like movements under right ribcage.

Yeah I get them loads!

My midwife told me its because of the fluid the baby is swimming, they swollow and can get hiccups!

I think its so sweet, imagining my baby having hiccups!

I've just started getting this too, at 31 weeks. Usually in the evenings or when I go to bed, but maybe that's just when I notice it. Very low down in my pelvis also, and I know that's where her head is because I can sometimes feel it there, and she also enjoys sticking her feet up into my ribs.
It's cute though, and apparently it doesn't bother them like it would us

I've had 3 little ones and they all got hiccups a LOT! I described it to someone as like the times you have a muscle twitching somewhere but you can't turn it off!!
All good!

Yes, mine gets hiccups at least twice a day. Am 36 weeks. Midwife says nothing to worry about: 'babies just hiccup'.
