Are You Having A Baby B4 Xmas? Live in Herts?

Hi,

My name is Paula Cottle and I am a mature student doing an MSc in the Psychodynamics of Human Development.

As part of my course I am required to observe an infant for 1 hour a week over the period of a year in their family home.

I will be observing the interactions between the baby and their mother or father. This will allow me to gain an understanding of how we develop, communicate and build relationships from the first weeks and months of life.

Would you be willing to participate and let me observe your baby?

I have been advanced CRB checked and can provide a reference from my university, who you can call.

For an informal chat please contact me ?

I'm not in Hertfordshire - in MK which is just outside - but can help if you'd like?

Due date is 27th but will be having DC2 by ELCS the week before. Will be my 2nd section.

Hi hobgoblin,

Unfortunately the course is ideally looking for someone who is pregnant or with a very young baby (a few weeks old). So we can understand human development right from the beginning.

As you have experienced, your little girl will have already gone through so many changes already, it would be a shame to miss that.

But thank you so much for your offer, I wasn't sure if I would get a response or not and I really appreciate all the lovely ladies who have replied.

Best wishes,
Paula

Hi Goldensnitch,

Many thanks for replying, I should have said I live in South Herts so sadly MK would be a bit far for me to travel.

I really do appreciate your offer and wish you all the very best for the 27th! Will you be posting your birth announcement on the boards, let me know and I'll look out for it.

Best wishes,
Paula

I'm sure I'll be letting everyone know

Have you tried posting on the Due in December thread? Milliemuffin and I are both on there along with lots of other women due in December. There must be one or two in Herts?

Thanks hun,

I'm still finding my way around, at the risk of sounding totally thick how do I find the Due in Dec thread? I've listed all the topics in talk and can't find it there.
