Alternatives to my Haribo cravings!

I think I may be eating too many sweets

Clementines I'm enjoying quite a bit, but not really taking my 24/7 mind away from very sugary sweets.

Does anyone have any ideas/suggestions for alternatives? My mum carried a lot of sugar when she was pregnant with me and I don't want to increase chances of diabetes etc. Seriously, I could eat packet after packet, I have to regain control!

Thanks

Hmmmm, I've got this problem too. Haribos are sooooo addictive - I've bought a bag of treat-size packs to try and limit the amount at any one time. It works some of the time!

That's a good idea, I'll try that (whether I have the willpower to stop at one packet is another thing!)

i'll look in asda, thank you. i'm worried about all of the rubbish in them too.

at least last pregnancy it was hunks of cheese i kept chomping on, seems slightly more 'nutritious'.

i'm thinking of getting in some dark good quality choc too - that might help with sweet cravings.

Hmm not sure I can help, I have a terrible addiction to fizzy coke bottles. WHSmith are doing pick 'n' Mix cups for £2.99 and I just fill them with fizzy coke bottles

When I have baaad sugar cravings I make some popcorn and drizzle with golden syrup and a sprinkling of cinnamon... 'tis lush!

Sorry about that I have to take a massive detour when I get my lunch at work to avoid passing WHSmith at the moment!!!

The popcorn one is my current fave... melted butter and demerarer sugar is another goody.... or runny honey and chopped nuts.... or dusted with cocoa powder and icing sugar.... or... or... or
