What to do if you get the flu?

My husband had a flu jab (regular one) and now has had flu symptoms for 3 days (always does after having the flu jab, no matter what they say about it not containing the live virus!): achy, coughing, sore throat etc. I'm now starting to feel a bit rough with bad throat etc. I'm almost 37 weeks - do I just take some paracetomol or do I have to ring the docs to check on the baby etc? I'm assuming it's the regular flu that he's suffering from and therefore what I might be starting with?

Thanks for any help.

Drink plenty of fluids, take paracetamol six hourly, call your gp if your temperature isn't contained by paracetamol. It is probably unrelated to the flu jab.
